The sky is still there at night time.

Col's Telescope

Colin here! My fascination with the night sky took me to a corner of the internet that I think everyone could enjoy, providing the weather stays somewhat clear. Following the Perseid Meteor Shower that skimmed our fine planet last week, I was curious as to what else could be seen on a clear night. I found this¬†site, which can tell you the current location of The International Space Station. Over 260 miles above us, it can be seen with the naked eye quite easily, if only for a few minutes at a time. Have yourself a pair of binoculars, or a telescope? Even better! I’m going to be keeping an eye out for a period when it transits the moon, as that would be a sight indeed. Inspiration through¬†ingenuity, all those folks involved in the space program are never far from my mind.
